Taiwan is warning that China’s current army drills are a rehearsal for an actual invasion.

Japan, an ally of each Taiwan and the USA in East Asia, has voiced its personal considerations.

The issue in Japan is compounded by the island nation’s lack of a proper standing army, which is outlawed by its structure. Japan maintains a small “protection pressure” for defense.

China usually threatens to annex Taiwan by pressure, if crucial, whereas Japan and the U.S. proceed to extend their army readiness to probably reply to such an assault.
