A busy highway within the West End of Glasgow was closed for nearly 5 hours after a pedestrian was knocked down by a car.
Emergency companies raced to Nice Western Highway, round 5.30pm on Friday, following experiences of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car.
The Scottish Ambulance Service are believed to have attended the scene alongside Police Scotland and the pedestrian – a person – was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for remedy.

Nice Western Highway was closed whereas emergency companies handled the incident on January 6. The highway re-opened virtually 5 hours later, at 10.20pm.
