M8 motorway horror as 30-year-old dies after ploughing into crash barrier

A younger man has died after his automobile crashed into the limitations M8 motorway yesterday.

The incident occurred between Bishopton and Langbank at round 1.50am on Might 22.

Police remained on the scene whereas each carriageways have been closed close to junction 31. Regardless of fellow motorists and witnesses to the crash speeding to the mans support, he was sadly pronounced lifeless when emergency companies arrived.

The 30 year-old was alone within the pink Renault Captur when it ploughed into the motorway barrier.

Police are interesting for witnesses or info following the single-vehicle crash and urge anybody who might have dash-cam footage to come back ahead.

Sergeant Kenny Malaney, Highway Policing Unit, mentioned: “Quite a lot of different motorists who noticed the crash stopped and tried to assist the person till emergency companies arrived however sadly he didn’t survive the crash.

“Though we’ve spoken to those that assisted on the time, we’re nonetheless eager to listen to from anybody who might have been on the M8 westbound that morning between 1.40am and 1.50am who might have seen the automobile driving on the highway previous to the crash or the collision itself and who has not but come ahead. Sprint-cam video would even be useful as it might have captured footage that would assist our investigation.”
