Properties throughout Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire have been left with out water as a burst principal is inflicting extreme flooding.
Firefighters and police are at present on the scene of the burst water principal on the junction of Auchenhowie Highway and the A81 in Milngavie.
The power of the water seems to have lifted tarmac from the street, inflicting main flooding and prompting a rescue operation by emergency providers.
1000’s of properties are with out water as Scottish Water investigates the problem which unfolded round 3.50pm.

Postcodes confirmed to be affected embrace G2, G3, G4, G5, G11, G12, G13, G15, G20, G51 & Bearsden G61.
East Dunbartonshire Council has confirmed that each roads are at present closed.
