New photos and video footage has been launched of an infinite pipe which precipitated chaos in Milngavie on Tuesday afternoon.
As much as 100,000 properties had been left with out water on January 24 after a mains pipe exploded, with some individuals nonetheless experiencing provide points within the G3 space.
Scottish Water has now revealed the rationale behind the main water outage which struck residents earlier this week.

Scottish Water tweeted: “WOW! Examine this out… here is the perpetrator!
“The 36″ pipe that burst in Milngavie is the Victorian pipework laid as a part of the unique Katrine Aqueduct in 1859. Unimaginable.”

The Victorian pipework has been eliminated as groups proceed working to restore the harm precipitated – which is estimated to take 10-14 days to finish.
