Emirates airline cuts annual loss to $1.06 billion

Dubai’s Emirates airline on Friday posted a lack of 3.9 billion dirhams ($1.06 billion) for the 12 months ended March 31, sharply decrease than its lack of 20.3 billion dirhams a 12 months earlier as easing pandemic-related curbs boosted journey demand.

Emirates stated it elevated locations from 120 at first of the monetary 12 months to over 140 locations by the top and continued to reinstate companies throughout its community.

“This 12 months, we focussed on restoring our operations shortly and safely wherever pandemic-related restrictions eased throughout our markets,” stated Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and the group.
