DeSantis takes pictures at Trump says he’s ‘working in direction of the left’ claims he ‘is a distinct man at this time’

Republican presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is escalating his assaults on President Donald Trump accusing the previous president of “working to the left,” claiming that he’s a “completely different man at this time” than his earlier marketing campaign in 2016 and 2020. 

Talking with Tennessee conservative radio host Matt Murphy, DeSantis slammed Trump’s marketing campaign saying it’s displaying extra indicators of leaning in direction of the left’s ideology slightly than sticking with conservative values. 

“It looks like he’s working to the left, and I’ve all the time been any individual that’s simply been moored in conservative ideas,” DeSantis stated in an interview with Matt Murphy.

The Florida governor claimed that his presidential rival “is a distinct man at this time.”

DeSantis and Trump have exchanged barbs this week following DeSantis’ official entry into the 2024 Republican presidential primary, with the Florida governor amplifying his assaults towards the previous president.
