Clydebank shopkeeper attacked by younger boy whereas attempting to stop theft

Police in Clydebank are interesting for info following a robbery from a premises within the Mountblow Street space.

The incident befell round 4.20pm on Thursday, Could 19. At the moment, a youth attacked a 61-year-old male workers member and ran from the realm with quite a lot of gadgets from the premises.

The workers member suffered minor accidents and was left shaken on account of the incident.

The suspect is described as being a male, aged between 15-17, with blonde hair. He was carrying a black hoody and gray joggers.

Detective Constable Colin Nichol, from Clydebank CID, stated: “This was a very distressing incident for the sufferer, who was attacked for attempting to stop the youth from leaving with stolen items.

“We’re interesting to anybody who was within the Montblow Street space across the time of the theft and witnessed something suspicious to please come ahead. Equally, for those who recognise the outline of the youth or have any additional info, we’re eager to talk with you.”
