Police have named the second man killed in a horror crash final weekend.
John Laird was the motive force of the Mercedes C220 which collided with a Ford Mondeo shortly earlier than midnight on Friday, November 18, close to the Kings Park Resort, Rutherglen.
The 80-year-old’s passenger, Michael McManamon, was named last week and sadly passed away at the scene. John was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital however couldn’t be saved.
An announcement from Mr Laird’s household stated : “We’re coronary heart damaged and shocked on the lack of our a lot cherished John, a husband, father and grandad. He shall be sorely missed.
